About James

James Bolton-Riley is passionate about people and property. He has a genuine approach to Real Estate and has recently enjoyed getting the wheels turning on the well regarded NZR Real Estate brand in the Tairāwhiti region

Brought up on a livestock and cropping farm, James understands the lay of the land. His skill sets were refined during his international career as a helicopter pilot where he worked on a range of remote flying projects in support of government, farming, fishing, forestry, mining and fire-fighting. These demanding projects left him with enough dirt under the nails to understand the importance of excellent planning, good communication and a proven ability to make timely decisions. Important skills required when helping his clients getting value from their rural property.

Having sold in excess of $150 million dollars’ worth of farm, horticulture, forestry and lifestyle property across the East Coast, James’s results speak for themselves.
